Frightening black metal / hard rock hybrid EERIE delivers a lycanthropic lashing with its self-titled debut. Featuring a monster mash of musicians including guitarist Tim Lehi (Draugar, Twilight), bassist Dave Sweetapple (Witch), drummer Moses Saarni (Futur Skullz) and vocalist Shane Baker (Pins Of Light, Alaric), EERIE sets the night on fire with haunting, biting metal that is out of this world! The skeleton of the band's sound rises from the casket of traditional black metal, but EERIE injects the putrid corpse with a solid steel ‘70s heavy prog backbone, giving life to monstrous music the likes of which the world has never heard before! Come one, come all and experience EERIE's fiendish, fantastic horrorscope of sound!

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
This is the ABSOLUTE return of one of the MOST IMPORTANT heavy metal bands ever! Cirith Ungol offered us everything we hoped for and even more with this release, almost 30 years after their break-up. No more words, play it loud as it should be played! BoneWalker
Distilled death metal with catchy riffs and well written songs. It's not reinventing the wheel or anything but it's osdm, if that's what you want look elsewhere. grahamy
